Walk and Talk Therapy

Pivoted Perspective will be offering the opportunity to get outside and engage in movement (release those endorphins!) and/or meet in a private outdoor space during a session.

Located in the beautiful town of Wolfville, there are many trails and spaces that provide amazing opportunities for this!

This, of course, will be an option that will evoke several questions/concerns that we will discuss before venturing out. It is also not the right fit for everyone, but for some it has shown to have great benefit to the therapeutic process.

Two of the most common questions include:

What if I see someone I know or recognizes you as a mental health professional?

For some this may not be of concern, but for many it is a legitimate and fair question. For anyone who is interested but unsure we will work together to set up boundaries around how you want to proceed if you do see someone you know.

What about confidentiality?

Your privacy is extremely important which again, involves us working together so you can make an informed decision about whether this is a good fit for you.

At this moment, walk and talk is not an option as it does not allow for 6 feet between us. However, when the weather warms up, the option to meet at a private space and ensure proper distance will soon be an option. Fingers crossed we see numbers decrease and restrictions lifted soon!

*Clients will sign a waiver consenting to participate.
